We partnered with UKL to deliver a full rebrand and bespoke website, designed to better reflect their offering and streamline the user experience.
Location sourcing can often be complex, time-consuming, and heavily centred around London. For production teams working under tight timelines, finding distinctive, high-quality locations outside the capital can be a challenge.
There was an opportunity to position UKL as the go-to locations company beyond London – simplifying the process while showcasing the breadth and quality of their portfolio. The challenge was to create a brand that clearly communicates ease, confidence, and expertise, while standing out in a competitive and often fragmented market.
We built the brand around clarity and recognition. At its core is the message: “Find your location.” Simple and direct, it cuts through industry noise while reinforcing UKL’s role as a trusted, accessible partner.
The lead brand device carries a dual meaning – a house shape flipped to form a location marker – neatly expressing both property and place in a single, memorable symbol. This idea extends across the identity, with a flexible system of building-inspired shapes that add personality and variation.
A bold colour palette of yellow and dark green creates strong contrast and visibility, giving the brand confidence and standout across all touchpoints.
We designed and built a fully bespoke website, centred around advanced search functionality that allows users to quickly and efficiently find their ideal location. Throughout, UKL’s in-house photography is given space to shine – showcasing the uniqueness and quality of each location, and bringing the brand to life through rich, visual storytelling.
