Langley Gate is a new residential development in York by Miller Homes. Whilst still in early stages of development, we were tasked to create a publication for prospective buyers. One of the project’s key objectives was to help attract potential buyers by showcasing the wealth of amenities, green spaces and places to discover right on their doorstep.
Working closely with the iTravel team at City of York Council, who promote walking, cycling and bus travel to benefit health, we created an illustrated fold-out map designed to welcome future residents and inspire confidence in the lifestyle Langley Gate offers.
The publication highlights everything the local area has to offer – from independent businesses and local landmarks to parks, leisure facilities and hidden gems – encouraging people to imagine themselves as part of the community before they’ve even moved in. Alongside this, it promotes healthier, more sustainable ways to travel, challenging the perception that driving is the easiest or best way to reach York city centre.
