Humber Forest is the community forest for Hull and East Yorkshire. They work together with communities, businesses, and landowners to increase tree cover and maintain existing woodland. Humber Forest connects people and woodlands for happier and healthier communities, helping tackle climate change, and improving the local environment for all.
We transformed the Humber Forest identity by starting with the renaming of the brand. We developed a brand strategy which focused on ‘community under one canopy’ – the brand message which reflects how trees are an integral part of all of our lives now and for generations to come. This paints the bigger picture of a shared community, bound under one canopy of trees.
The overarching brand message reflects how trees are an integral part of all of our lives now and for generations to come. The message pairs with an illustrated landscape which shows different people and their interaction with trees in the region, alongside landmark locations such as The Deep, Flamborough Lighthouse, The Humber Bridge, and Beverley Minster.
“Foundry were fantastic to work with when undergoing our rebrand & rename. They understood our needs, booked in regular meetings and kept us up to date through the whole process. The brand guidelines produced were clean and professional and have been very handy for stakeholders. Pat & Nat are approachable and friendly, and followed our guidance for what we wanted to create, but brought their own wealth of experience and creative suggestions, and were able to work very well to our deadline for a relaunch.”
